The client has a custom learning management system that is fully integrated with their internal systems. As they attract students from around the world they also need to stay abreast of regulations and accessibility guidelines. While their internal team is more than capable in handling the day-to-day operations and security, they outsource major upgrades to our development team, and have a sandbox environment to perform extensive testing before approved code is merged with the live system.
This client is a pleasure to work with as they are always prepared with an extensive list of improvements that need to be addressed and a firm budget. That level of professionalism gives us a rare opportunity to standardize and improve the workflow to provide the client with the best return on their investment. We are able to fully estimate out the items that they would like to have completed, and then workshop with the client to prioritize the items that are most important to them, and what we can fit into their budget. Once the work has been completed, we provide full testing documentation describing the original issue, our code solution, how to test our solution against their sandbox environment, and finally we detail the steps needed to update that issue on their production server. We always make sure to save 10% of the budget if we come across any issues that were not found in our initial estimate, but depending on the amount left, we go also go back to the original list to complete as many of the smaller issues that were deemed optional.
